She was head of the Norwegian Government’s commission on freedom of speech and has been president of Norwegian PEN and member of the board of Ethical Journalism Network. Various managerial positions within Norwegian media, incl. editor in Aftenposten, Oslo. Former secretary general of the Norwegian Press Association, head of Association of Norwegian Editors in Oslo, board member of International News Media Association (INMA) and director of member communications of The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO).

She holds a master’s degree in political science (UiO) and an executive master of management (BI).

Nicklas Stavnar is the Head of Foresight and Portfolio Manager at the Tinius Trust, leading strategic foresight and portfolio management efforts. He is also a Board Member at Plaace AS and a Board Observer at Joymo AS. Previously, Nicklas was an Investment Manager at Blommenholm Industrier AS, the largest shareholder of Schibsted ASA, where he specialised in identifying and nurturing high-potential startups. His professional journey includes key strategic product roles at Adevinta and Schibsted, notably contributing to the carve-out of Adevinta from Schibsted. Additionally, he has entrepreneurial experience as a co-founder of one of Norway’s leading contact-tracing solutions.

Nicklas holds a Master of Science in International Management from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Handelshøyskolen BI. Fluent in both Norwegian and English, he is dedicated to driving innovation and supporting sustainable growth in the media and startup ecosystems.

Marius Bakke is the Head of Communication at the Tinius Trust. He is responsible for the Trust’s communication strategy, messaging, stakeholder coordination, political analysis and operative communication efforts.

With an educational background in Media and Communications from the University of Oslo, Marius joined the Tinius team in January 2025, from a position as Head of Communication in the Norwegian Ministry of Culture and Equality. He has worked in the Ministry’s communications team for 15 years, serving nine Ministers of different political affiliations and across the Ministry’s portfolio.

In 2015/2016 he was Communications and culture adviser at the Norwegian embassy in London, UK. As well as communicating Norwegian standpoints on all political subjects to British media, he was editor for the embassy’s online presence and social media. In addition to this, he was in charge of the embassy’s music export portfolio, which meant facilitating for Norwegian artists, management and export organisations to get exposure towards British industry and press.
